A family business - in the hands of three generations

More than 50 years ago Erich Miedl learned the craft of staircase construction.
After finishing his master`s in 1972, Erich set up shop in his own basement. this business has been thriving creating staircases, doors, windows and balconies all right from the start.
The demand grew and the basement soon became too small. Therefore, he was looking for a carpenter's workshop and soon found it.
Together with his son Michael, who started an apprenticeship in his father's company and graduated as a master craftsman, they were one of the first companies to introduce computer-aided staircase planning.
They created a strong foundation in the carpentry business, growing and changing with time. Always offering more and newer styles of construction, keeping up with the newest trends and technologies.
In 2004 they received their first international order for the main staircase of a luxury yacht.
And soon the next capable generation will continue this business. Bringing with them fresh new ideas, technologies and passion into this family business.
